You are a man; so you are supposed to be ALL masculine. 

Right?

Society has long lifted up and worshiped the masculine, and for good reason. When you worship GOD, you think in terms of masculine. When you look for protection, leadership, and for a vision of a bold new future; you harness the masculine energy. 

The masculine energy brings with it many great and honorable features such as:

• Conquering
• Protection
• Leadership
• Vision
• Power

What happens though, when the masculine goes too far to the extreme?

You get disaster and a big mess. 

The Conquering becomes damaging to everything around it. The protection becomes controlling. The Leadership becomes dictating. The Vision becomes selfish. The Power becomes corrupt. 

There are Times and Seasons to Harness and Operate Fully in the Masculine Energy

When I think about my life, it was the times when I boldly and bravely had the courage to act like an honorable man that led me to achieving the goals and visions I set out to conquer. 

When I played sports and needed that intensity to compete, when I created a new vision for my life, I needed the courage to step out in faith to conquer new challenges. 

When I pursued anything and everything to create a new world for me, I was harnessing the power of the masculine energy. 

Was I able to conquer and achieve dreams? Absolutely

But sometimes when the masculine gets taken to the extreme; it becomes toxic.

Stress creeps in because of the value we place on performance. Anxiety lurks because we fail; after all we are mere mortal men, and not perfect by any means. We become too proud to think we need anything or anyone outside of ourselves and the world we created for ourselves. 

I know what it feels like and it is not sustainable nor healthy. 

Rekindle the Feminine in Your Life

Thankfully, I have had a rekindling of the feminine energy in my life. Through my conquest of becoming the best version of myself, I feel exploring the feminine nature of my life has led me to bigger breakthroughs, more happiness, joy, and peace.

When I talk about feminine energy; I am referring to:

• Compassion
• Love
• Beauty
• Nourishing and Life giving
• Contentment 

My exploration into the feminine was rekindled by my love for the beauty of nature and mother earth. I would set out to explore, conquer, and accomplish by the way of hiking and climbing mountains (my masculine energy). 

What I discovered, though, was the transforming power of the feminine energy. 

I began experiencing love and compassion for ALL living things and life. I felt joy in being in the beauty of the moment. The nourishment of the earth beneath my feet and the life of nature around me gave me new meaning to life. I was content with being happy exactly where I was in life. 

I still had the responsibility of my masculine commitments; but I was learning to find balance and harness both masculine and feminine energies to beautify all areas of my life. 

Finding Balance

It takes both masculine and feminine energies to live a whole and complete life: you can actually go somewhere in life, and actually be happy about where you are at the same time. 

How beautiful would that be? 

The impact on the world around you could become far greater if you walked boldly and bravely with a little love and compassion, if you used and harnessed great power with nurturing and life giving energy. 

You would get to experience your vision of a better future by the beauty of every moment and actually be happy if it didn’t come to pass the way you wanted it to. 

That is the beauty of living a life allowing your feminine to flower as a man. 

HeRose Men Live Life Beautifully

In HeRose, The Men’s Mastermind, together we explore being a man of both masculine and feminine energies. We seek that wholeness, completeness, and balance in our lives. 

We are not too proud to be emotional, vulnerable, and sensitive to the transformational power of the feminine. Yet we are bold, brave, and vigilant in creating and going after the better version of ourselves with intention. 

In fact, the Rose in HeRose signifies the feminine energy we ALL must access to live the Hero version of ourselves. 

I believe the feminine energy we bring to HeRose allows for a loving, safe, and nourishing place for men to grow.
