7 Dimensions of a HeRose Health Journey: Why You Want to Overwhelm Your Lifestyle with Extreme Health to Fully Live an Abundant and Wholesome Life

We are living in a time when medicine and technology have made such tremendous breakthroughs in our ability to live a healthy life, yet our health seems to be failing many of us in so many different ways. 

We struggle physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and we rely too heavily on these modern medicines and technologies to be the solution to our problems.  

I Believe Health has to Come from Within. 

Where our body, mind, emotion and energy are in alignment and harmony. 

If you take the time everyday to invest in your inner state of being, you can experience feeling wholesome within yourself, that is when you feel healthy. 

When you feel healthy and wholesome you feel a sense of peace and joy about life. 

My Journey to Healthy Wholesome Living

My experience with health has led me to a path of peace, joy and a genuine love for life. 

I have lived an active lifestyle my whole life. Playing sports, surfing, biking, hiking, running and being outdoors. This has helped me remain in great physical shape. 

I have had a healthy nutrition lifestyle eating home cooked meals 5-6 days a week for the majority of my life. 

I have managed to keep my alcohol consumption to a very low minimum all my life. 

My biggest struggles nutrition wise come from my love for sweets. Knowing how bad sugar and processed foods are for you, I still struggle with all those delicious desserts. 

But…  This is only part of what makes up wholesome health. 

Not all of my life have I had complete emotional stability. Not all of my life have I had complete mental stability. Not all my life have I had complete spiritual stability. 

In fact, as I am writing this blog I can admit that I have been experiencing the highest levels of stress and anxiety off and on for the last year or so.  

For me though, wholesome health is a lifelong journey and what has helped me the most over the years is my commitment to simple processes of extreme health that get me back on track to a joyful state of being. 

These simple processes are what I call 

The 7 Dimensions of a HeRose Health Journey

These are 7 areas I focus on to create an atmosphere of extreme health and allow me to experience a more whole state of being. 

Each of these 7 areas could be a blog within themselves but for purposes of this blog I will just mention them with a brief description. 

  1. Being Still and Calm

I can achieve this in a simple 2 minute session or a full on 30 minute session. Prayer and meditation can help achieve this but ultimately I am looking for stillness and calmness about me where the busy mind and body are no longer in control. 

  1. Sleep

Rest and Recovery are so important for our overall health and well being. This is an area that needs to have some focus and attention if you are struggling with health issues. Creating the right atmosphere and environment to optimize your sleep will pay huge health dividends in the long run too. 

  1. Nutrients as Fuel

Our bodies as an overall living organism need nutrients to run at an optimal level. The food we eat and put into our body are where we are going to get the most of our nutrients. I suggest we make wise choices about what foods we put in our bodies because our food will become us. Also, taking supplements to help us further fuel our bodies is a great idea but do some research and take high quality focused supplements. 

  1. Self Love and Joy

Show yourself some love and care and invest time in what brings you joy. Of course we can all achieve a state of Joy no matter what the circumstance or situation may be but being intentional about the love you give yourself can help transform your health for the better. 

  1. Movement and being Grounded

I say movement because that is really what we need. Everyone may have their own preference for how they want to move but the point is to do it consistently and as often as possible. Grounded for me is walking outside in nature barefoot and getting sunshine on my body for at least 20-30 minutes a day. I also love getting outside in nature for longer periods of time to do a full system reset. 

  1. Detox Naturally

Our physical body needs detox from the unhealthy foods we eat and environmental toxins that affect our health. My two favorite methods of detox are sweating through exercise, sunshine or infrared saunas and taking some toxin binding supplements such as coconut charcoal. There are other methods and if your body needs a more deep cleanse I advise seeing a functional medicine practitioner and doing your own research. 

  1. Diet

“Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food” – Hippocrates. There is no one right diet. Everyone is different.  Educating yourself on proper nutrition and diet can help you tremendously as you learn about your body and its needs. Certain foods are beneficial for one person and can cause damage to another.  Go on the journey of self discovery. Yes, there are plenty of diet books and plans to follow but do the one that makes you feel whole and in good health. 

I hope you take these 7 Dimensions and go on a journey of discovery and experience how they can transform your life. Overwhelm your life with these dimensions of health that can be measured over time. 

Remember, Health starts from within. Your inner physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being all must align and be in harmony. 

You deserve wholesome complete health.
